People often asked where our business name came from - well the answer is simple, it came from our dogs, Otto & Skyler! Most of our best ideas/inspiration came from whilst we were out walking our beloved dogs, in beautiful North Devon, so we simply tweaked it slightly changing Otto to Otter, in reference to Tarka The Otter, whose journey is based around North Devon.

Hello, we are Jo & Lin, two friends from North Devon.

Our shared love of nature and the outdoors has led us to this venture. We’ve always had an interest in alternative therapies and are passionate about the environment. During our many dog walks around the North Devon countryside, our ideas grew…& what started off with aromatherapy candles, soon developed into much more!

Through foraging and growing some of our own herbs, we have acquired a keen interest in herbs & botanicals and their many uses. We love to share our passion and do this through running workshops, focusing on wellbeing.

We’ve always both loved crafting & what initially started as a fun hobby, has led us to where we are today, both bringing different ideas and skills to Otter and Sky!
